manos multi blanket

Someone asked me in a comment about my icon, and I realized that I never shared the project with the community. It's the first thing I ever started to make after learning to knit - a very simple seed stitch single-piece blanket that I made up on the spot. It felt like it took forever to finish (and was pretty danged boring at the end: K, P, K, P, K, P....), but I still love it. I made it from Manos del Uruguay, and which is just fabulous yarn. I never would have picked it if I'd known what I was doing, because it was so expensive, but I'm happy to have the finished product. I would have liked to fancy up the ends with tassels or something, but didn't have enough yarn to go around. Ah well, you can see pictures here, here, here, and here if you are so inclined.

I have photos of a bunch of other completed projects waiting to go online. Perhaps I'll get to them now too.
