Coming home late last night after a hard week of travel... this is pretty much me today. Curled in on myself, shielding my eyes from the sun, and burrowing in.

Happydog

One of the hardest things about being away from home so often is distance from the pooch. I just wish he could come everywhere with me.

Miki, Age 15

Miki hates being photographed ( unlike her famewhore brother ) and so she often gets the short end of the documentary stick. But she's still going strong after 15 years. I believe she thinks a little less of me for mixing cat pictures into an otherwise respectable photoblog, but I can take it. This was my first morning experimenting with my new 50mm lens, and I could hardly take a bad shot. At home, February 2006.
